It is with enormous pleasure and satisfaction that we present the new born of the favorite house: the X1 100 HD casting reel. HD stands for HEAVY DUTY, because this reel is a small concentrate of technology and power and the main gear, i.e. the main gear of the reel, is made of brass, a super sturdy material… the most used alloy for making reels from super powerful castings.
The technical details of this reel: the body is made of T-60 plastic, the same type of innovative Favorite polymer already used for the X1 spinning reels. The total weight of the reel is 215gr.
The braking system is double therefore magnetic plus centrifugal: the DUAL DD. This double system helps us both in strong wind conditions and in the use of very light lures. We are able to cast even very small lures thanks to the fluidity of the reel and this brake system. On the side cheek is the knob to adjust the reel in ten positions. Practically a regulation for each type of bait that we are going to use in bass fishing.
The mechanical regulator of the reel is of the micrometric type. It is therefore possible to act up to ensure that the reel generates the ideal fluidity for all our fishing needs. The new X1 100 HD reel is the ideal combination to perfectly balance the range of X1 casting rods made by Favorite in collaboration with our Italian Team.

The retrieve ratio is 7:2-1 with 71 centimeters of line retrieve per handle turn. This ratio was chosen because it is one of the most used in casting reels, which allows you to fish with reaction baits but also to opt for slower fishing.
The clutch is adjusted with the classic aluminum star ring system. The discs are made of carbon to ensure the best heat dispersion and the hold is 8 kg, therefore a high performance drag perfect for flipping and for fishing inside the covers and extracting the fish by force.
The handle of the X1 100 HD is generously sized, to facilitate the fishing action, with a double knob in soft silicone that favors a perfect grip and maximum sensitivity. The spool ensures ideal capacity, capable of holding 150m of PE #2 braid.
The total black look with metallic green inserts of the new X1 100 HD perfectly recalls the classic colors of the X1 range of Favorite, the most successful product series in recent years.
