Favorite Blue Bird Rods

Its blank is made of Skyflex 30T high modulus carbon. Fast action and unrivaled sensitivity. Each model is designed according to precise specifications to adapt it to different uses. Typical of rods for “professional” use generally characterized by considerably higher costs.
Ergonomic IPS reel seat handle with carbon screw closure. The cut of the EVA has been revised so as to allow the ends of the fingers to rest on the blank itself so as to increase the sensitivity to bites.
A modern ring arranged according to the KR-concept. The internal stone that makes up the ring is fine and very light, comparable in performance to the more renowned Torzite. The lighter models have been evolved with the use of single leg rings.
The Favorite Blue Bird series is made up of rods with solid or tubular tips depending on the different uses.
Skyflex 30T – The Korean pre-preg that distinguishes many of Favorite’s creations. The Multi Layer Structure Slim used for UL and L rods allows for finer, more reactive and resistant rods.

Each rod in the series has been created for a different use:
BB1 682SUL-S: Designed for street fishing in confined spaces, it mounts a solid tip and expresses a unique sensitivity with light heads and rubbers. Also suitable for fishing from the boat or the stream tackled with rubber.
BB1 732UL-S: Ideal for larger environments, such as large city canals, for perch fishing in lakes and rock fishing, also in this case the solid top gives great sensitivity.
BB1 732L-T: One of the most versatile rods in the series, ideal for perch fishing from the boat and from the shore, not only with softbaits but also with metal jigs and hardbaits
BB1 762UL-T: Ideal for casting microjigs at long range and on large channels
BB1 802L-T: An ideal rod for any shore use. A very popular type also for those who compete in torrents. Tubular top.
BB1 832ML-T: The most powerful, ideal for fishing at long distances. Large canals, rivers and lakes from the shore are its natural environment. . Tubular top.

NEWS 2022: expressly requested by the Italy team, for 2022 Favorite to produce exclusively for Old Captain 2 new models (BB1 662SUL & BB1 682UL) developed with an extreme fast action, which we wanted to name POWER FAST. Thanks to this special action perfected after various attempts and field tests, these two new rods are extremely sensitive at the tip (also thanks to the solid tip). Perfect for using extremely light lures for all ultralight fishing techniques in street fishing or at sea.
