Lunkerhunt Popping Bug

Lunkerhunt Popping Bug is a new concept of topwater that makes its way into the well-established lunkerhut tradition.

This lure is inspired by another revelation lure, the Dragonfly; In fact, he too is equipped with a Texas hook to be able to arm the body of the lure itself in a totally weedless way.

The body is made of a very high buoyancy foam that makes the lure totally unsinkable; the consistency is perfect to resist the capture of many fish and at the same time to have an excellent attack / strike ratio.

The body is compact without particular appendages and is excellent for being skipped in the covers. In the front part there is the generously sized “mouth” to create eddies and turbulence at the slightest call of the barrel. A very important aspect is the large cut in the ventral part that acts as a housing for the hook and which leaves a lot of freedom for the trigger to do its job and hook properly.

Lunkerhunt Popping Bug is completed in the final part with silicone tails which, as in the compact frog for example, are an irresistible attraction for the predator when the lure is stationary on the cover. Triggering this lure is very simple, just follow the signs on the bait itself: the raised dot indicates where to enter the hook, the cut leads the trap inside.

The weight of the bait allows us to fish with both spinning and casting equipment, however we recommend equipment with a large reserve of power, not so much for casting but to be able to extract any catches from the most intricate covers. As always in the case of soft topwater lures it is good to use a good size direct braid.

It cannot be missing from the arsenal of a true big bass hunter !!
